Hi, Stampers. In my last post, I showed you card one of my Livestream videos, today is card two.  This card uses the larger windmill from the Windmill Fields Dies. The larger windmill is die-cut into three pieces and then assembled.

Here are the two cards that were made during the video below.

This card starts with a Balmy Blue card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.  The stamping was done onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer (and a scrap for windmill) of Basic White CS.

I used a mask (created using the Basic Borders Dies) and Blending Brushes to brush Balmy Blue ink across the top of this layer to create the clouds. Next, the tulip layers are stamped in Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape, and Bumblebee inks. The Windmill pieces and fences were die cut using the Windmill Fields Dies. An adhesive sheet was used on the detailed part of the windmill and the fence. The windmill blades adhere to the windmill with a mini stampin’ dimensional. (Note: be sure not to lose the center part, keeping it in the hole keeps the white from the stampin’ dimensional from showing through).

Inside the card is another 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS with the clouds brushed across the top (a lighter version). The sentiment (from Lovely You) is stamped in the center in Poppy Parade ink. I happened to have a layer of the tulip fields that were stamped incorrectly, so I cut it into strips and one of those strips was glued across the bottom of this layer.  Below is the video on how to make this card.
