Hi, Stampers. Spring has sprung! This weekend we officially entered the spring season. When I think spring, I think the beginning of the wedding season! It’s been a while since I’ve featured a wedding card, so I pulled out the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder set.

My card starts with a Basic Gray card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4.  Next, I placed the heart die and a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Blushing Bride CS into the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  It cut and embossed AT THE SAME TIME!  How cool is that? Then I used the Bouquet of Love folder and die to die-cut and emboss a Basic White heart. I also used the die set to die cut a label for my sentiment.

Toward the bottom of the Blushing Bride layer, I wrapped some Gray Granite ribbon around and adhered it on the back of the layer and adhered the layer to the card. I used a few glue dots and some tear and tape just because of all the texture, I wanted to be sure it was good and stuck!

I adhered the Basic White heart in the center with Stampin’ Seal and added a few Basic White flowers (also cut with the Bouquet of Love dies) with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A rhinestone was added to the center of each flower. Basic Grey ink was used to stamp the sentiment, from the Love & Happiness stamp set, onto my label. The label was then adhered over the ribbon.

Inside my wedding card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. Using the dies from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder set, I die cut a small stitched heart in Blushing Bride CS to put on the inside layer. Just under that heart I stamped the sentiment (from the Love & Happiness stamp set) in Basic Gray ink. I’m tickled pink on how it came out. 🙂
