Hi, Stampers. For our last Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop, I made a Pop-Out Book Card using the Hello Ladybug stamp set. This is the same fold in different colors, using a different stamp set, showing you just how versatile this fold can be.
This beautiful pop-out book card starts with a Polished Pink card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. The stamping, for the front of the card, was done on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. I used the Flowing Flowers stamp set with Daffodil Delight and Polished Pink ink.
The bow was tied in the Gray Granite ribbon and the ribbon was wrapped around this layer (and adhered on the back of the layer with glue dots) before the layer was attached to the card base.
The inside of the pop-out book card starts with an 8″ x 4″ layer of Basic Gray CS. Use the template below to see where to score and cut this layer to make the insert. Full instructions on how to make the pop-out book card are also in the video below.
I’m trying to show you multiple angles, so you can see just how awesome this pop-out book card is!
The “pages” for the pop-out book card are a 2-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ layer of Daffodil Delight CS, followed by a 2″ x 2-1/2″ layer of Basic White CS. Again, I used the Flowing Flowers stamp set for my stamping. I used Stampin’ Write markers to ink the stamp for the left side and stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink ink on the right side.
