Hi, Stampers. Bring on SPRING! I am so ready for some warm (not hot) weather and flowers! Today’s card features the In Bloom bundle. I just love all the stitching on the Pierced Blooms Dies. Did you see that the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine is on sale for 20% off this month?!?! These dies work great in that cute little machine!
My In Bloom card starts with a Balmy Blue card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder to dry emboss a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla CS and adhered that to my card front. Next up is a 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of the Pacific Point DSP. This is in the Brights DSP Paper Pack.
The flowers were die cut using the Pierced Blooms Dies with Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue CS. For the leaves, I used Garden Green CS. These are adhered to the card front on the left side with a combination of liquid glue and stampin’ dimensionals. The sentiment for the front of my card is from the Timeless Tropical stamp set. It fits great into the smaller oval of the Double Oval Punch. It’s stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the Very Vanilla oval which was adhered to the Highland Heather Oval with liquid glue and then to the card front with stampin’ dimensionals.
Inside the In Bloom card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla CS. Using the In Bloom stamp set, I stamped the flowers in the upper left and lower right corner in Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather inks. I added a few leaves to those flowers using Garden Green ink. The sentiment is stamped in the center in Garden Green ink. I love this bundle!
