Hi, Stampers. Have you had enough snow yet? It’s really cold here in southern Idaho and the snow has been sticking around more than I’ve seen it in the 5 years we’ve been here! I’m so ready for spring!  So, I chose the Hand Penned DSP for my Triple Fold Birthday Card today. This DSP has beautiful soft spring colors!

This triple fold birthday card started with a Highland Heather card base 11″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 1-3/4″, 5-1/2″, & 9-3/4″.  My Hand-Penned DSP layers are: yellow & multi-color – 1″ x 5-1/4″ (1 each), pink and multi-color – 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ (1 each) & purple and green – 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ (1 each).

Around the triple fold birthday card is a belly band made using a 1-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Highland Heather CS. The focal point of the card is made using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies with Highland Heather and Basic White CS. Using Highland Heather ink, I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto the Basic White label. These two labels were adhered together and then to the belly band.

Inside the triple fold birthday card there is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. The inside layer was stamped in Highland Heather ink using the Blessings of Home stamp set. This card can open to the right as I have done here, or you can flip it 180 degrees and have it open to the left.
