Hi, Stampers. I’m back today with another triple diamond card.  I made a few cards using this fold earlier in the year and they got a good response.  This time I made this triple diamond card as a tropical birthday card. Have you looked at the Stampin’ Up! Last Chance Sale? I was sad to see that Timeless Tropical stamp set was on that list – even sadder to see that it’s already sold out (in English, as of today the French set is still available, as are the dies).

Important note: In the past, Stampin’ Up! had guaranteed that we could order stamp sets up until a week or two before the end of the catalog. This is no longer the case. Everything on the retirement / sale list is now available ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST and supplies are not lasting long on some of my favorites!

This card has a Just Jade card base 11″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 1-1/2″, 4-1/8″ and 6″-3/4″.  Just Jade is one of the retiring in-colors… just saying… if you LOVE it (or any other outgoing in-color – go grab it!) The triple diamond card is decorated using the Artfully Composed DSP – two pieces of DSP were cut to 1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″. Another pattern was cut to 2-3/8″ x 5-1/4″, for the middle layer.  The third piece is 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the last panel. For the “diamonds” of my triple diamond card, I cut three pieces of the Just Jade cardstock 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″ and three white pieces 1-3/8″ x 1-3/8″. I stamped onto those Basic White “diamonds” using the Timeless Tropical stamp set.  To get the two colors on the pineapple, I used the brush tip end of a Stampin’ Write marker to ink the stamp. Using Calypso Coral ink, the sentiment was stamped onto the Basic White panel.  I stamped another pineapple in the lower corner, again inking with the Stampin’ Write Markers. This triple diamond card is fun and a great way to showcase our fabulous Designer Series Papers!
