Hi, Stamper. I hope you love today’s Front Pocket Card as much as I do. This card features the new Hello Harvest Bundle that will be in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2022 July to December mini catalog.
As you will see in the video below, I started my front pocket card with a Pumpkin Pie card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I measured down on each side 1-1/2″ and made a mark and then measured to the middle of the bottom at 2.3/4″. Using my paper trimmer, I scored from the bottom up to each side mark and folded them inward to create my pocket – for my Pocket Fold Card. I did similar marking on two 4″ x 5-1/4″ layers of Very Vanilla CS, only instead of scoring, I cut from bottom to each side. One was used for inside the pocket and one was used for inside the card.
For decoration, on my front pocket card, I used a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ layer of Pumpkin Pie DSP that was cut in half diagonally. One piece was used for the front of the pocket. The second half was cut in half from the bottom point to the center of the long side. This created two pieces, one for either side of the inside of the card. The flowers, from the Hello Harvest Bundle, were stamped twice in Memento Black ink.
The pumpkin, also from the Hello Harvest Bundle, was stamped in Memento Black ink. These were all colored with the Stampin’ Blends. Small dots of Snowfall Accents Puff Paint were added to the cotton on the flower bunches and heated with the heat tool until they puffed up. The flowers were tucked into the pocket, while the pumpkin adhered to the front center of my Pocket Fold Card.
Here is a closeup of the coloring. Watch the video below for tips on how I got the shading, etc.
