Hi, Stamper. Hey, Sports Fan, do you know someone who would really get a kick out of this handmade gift box? I made this box to hold a Resees Peanut Butter Cup, but it could also hold a KitKat bar or many other candies or non-candies for that matter…

The base of my gift box starts with a piece of Evening Evergreen CS – 7-1/2″ x 9″.  This piece is scored on the long side at 3″, 3-3/4″, 6-3/4″ and 7-1/2″.  On the short side, it is scored at 1/2″, 1-1/4″, 6-1/4″ and 7″.

The diagram below explains how to cut off the excess pieces way better than I could ever explain in writing. I decorated the outside of the gift box as if it was the front of a card. First I added a 4-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ layer of Crushed Curry CS, next up is a 4-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ layer of Hey Sports Fan DSP. The large ticket is die cut from Evening Evergreen CS and the number one was die cut from Crushed Curry CS. The baseball ticket was die cut out of the Hey Sports Fan DSP using the Sports Events Dies – even the perforation where the small “admit one” portion tears off the top ticket.

Inside the gift box, the top layer has a 4-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ layer of Crushed Curry CS, next up is a 4-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ layer of Hey Sports Fan DSP.  The bottom part has a 4-7/8″ x 1-3/8″ layer of Crushed Curry CS followed by a 4-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ layer of the Hey Sports Fan DSP.  What would you put into the box?
