Nothing says summer quite like a tall cold glass of lemonade. As you can see in my circle swing card, lemonade is just one more beer alternative you can do with the Brewed For You stamp set.
My circle swing card starts with a Daffodil Delight card base. I then added some Design A Daydream DSP to the card front. (If I had enough left over, I would have used the Tea Boutique DSP – but the kites were cute, too.) As my focal point to my circle swing card, I had stamped the glass and lemonade onto a Basic White circle that had been die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. This was backed by a scalloped circle of Daffodil Delight CS.
Lemon wedges from the Cup of Tea stamp set were stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto the circle and onto scraps of Basic White CS. There is a coordinating die, but I cut out the lemons with my paper snips. To give my glass a little dimension, I outlined the glass with a Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend and then spread it out using the color lifter. (see how I do this in the circle swing card video below)
Inside my circle swing card is a layer of Basic White CS with a strip of Tea Boutique DSP on the right side. The sentiment was stamped in the center in Daffodil Delight ink (just half the sentiment on the stamp – watch the video to see how I do this). Lemons were stamped in the lower right corner, in Daffodil Delight ink as a finishing touch.
Stampin’ Tip: I did a partial die cut, with the layering circles dies, to make my card have a half circle that flips to the card front. It’s not necessary for this fold, but I do show you how to do this in my video below.
