Hi, Stamper. Happy Friday! My blog post today, is on the card I made during yesterday’s LIVE. It’s my book binding easel card on point. This card is a slight difference from Monday’s LIVE / Wednesday’s post. See that post HERE.
Today’s book binding easel card starts with a Polished Pink card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″, 6-3/4″ and 8-7/8″. To decorate the top (book binding) part of the card is a 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ piece of Pear Pizzaz and a 1″ x 4″ piece of Wonderful World DSP (part of a level 2 sale-a-bration reward bundle) and then White Glittered Organdy ribbon with a bow is wrapped around that portion. A second set of these layers are cut for the inside bottom of the card.
The center focal piece, of my book binding easel card, is a 3″ x 3″ layer of Pear Pizazz CS and a 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Wonderful World DSP. I stamped the ballerina hippo from Hippest Hippos stamp set (level 1 sale-a-bration reward) in Basic Gray ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.
The ballerina was then die cut using the Hippo Dies (another level 1 sale-a-bration reward) and attached to the card front with a wobble. You can find the link to the wobbles HERE.
Inside the book binding easel card is a 4-1/8″ x 2-7/8″ layer of Pear Pizazz followed by a 4″ x 2-3/4″ layer of Basic White. The sentiment, also from Hippest Hippo, is stamped in Polished Pink. I’m thrilled with how it came out. The fact that is was done with FREE stamps, FREE dies & FREE DSP, makes it even better!
