Hi, Stamper. Today’s card is a quick and easy one. I used the Hippest Hippos and a very simple card layout. As much as I LOVE this card, I want you to keep in mind that this same layout can be used with almost any color combo and almost any stamp set.
My card uses a Tahitian Tide card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″. A 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer was dry embossed using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Two strips of 2022-2024 DSP help decorate the front.
My focal point was made using the Stylish Shapes Dies with Parakeet Party Cs and Basic White CS. Again, I used the Hippest Hippos stamp set to stamp the hippos, colored him with Stampin’ Blends and die cut it out using the Hippo Dies. The sentiment was stamped in Tahitian Tide ink onto a 1″ x 3″ strip of Basic White CS. (Flagging the end can be done using the Banner Pick a Punch or Paper Snips.)
Inside my Hippest Hippos card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Parakeet Party DSP followed by a 3-1/2″ 4-3/4″ layer of Basic White. I used a different hippo, from the Hippest Hippos stamp set, in the lower left and stamped this sentiment in Parakeet Party ink.
