Hi, Stamper. This week we have a little bit of Christmas in July (by request). I chose to make a very simple Kindest Gnomes Christmas card.

My Kindest Gnomes Christmas card starts out with a Shaded Spruce card base followed by a layer of Poppy Parade CS that has been dry embossed using the Gingham Embossing Folder. A white scalloped rectangle was die cut using the Scallop Contour dies and the Gnomes Dies were used to die cut the pieces for the gnome.

The gnomes hat as well as the three strips that are coming from under the scalloped rectangle are cut from the Santa Express DSP.  Using the Banner Pick a punch, I flagged the end of those strips before adhering them to the card with Stampin’ Seal.  The gnome was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few iridescent rhinestones finish it off.

Inside my Kindest Gnomes Christmas card, I have a layer of Basic White CS.  The gnome was stamped in the lower right corner in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. On the left is a mushroom that was die cut from the edge of the Storybook Gnomes DSP (might as well use the partial mushroom instead of throw it away). I used a light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to make a little path coming from the door of the mushroom and then stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce in the center.
