Hi, Stamper. I have a Sunday bonus for you today. This pulled back drapery card is one I did for a live stream back in May that never quite made it to the blog.  The video is posted below with full instructions.

This pulled back drapery card starts with a Daffodil Delight card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4.  The Design A Daydream DSP used here is a host exclusive. It’s a really large pack of DSP – it’s a whopping 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ DSP. A 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer is adhered directly to the card front and a second piece 5-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ is cut and score according to the diagram below. Paper Snips were used to cut into the middle of the right side and the upper and lower section were folded back and taped down with tear and tape (again, as shown in the diagram & video below). A bow was tied in a piece of 1/4″ Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and that was wrapped around the center of the drape before it was adhered to the card front.

Using the Pansy Dies and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I die cut the various pieces of the pansy. To simplify the assembly I put adhesive sheet on the back of the cardstock before die cutting.  Then it was simply a matter of peel and stick – easy peasy!

Inside the pulled back drapery card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White. The flower was stamped in the lower right and the sentiment was stamped in the center.
