Hi, Stamper. It’s a crazy Monday, so today’s Apple Harvest banner card is a simple one.

Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest handmade banner card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

This banner card starts with a Thick Basic White card base. There is a banner made from a 2″ strip of Gingham Cottage DSP that was flagged at the end with a pair of paper snips. Tucked under the left edge of the banner is a 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Garden Green CS that was die cut using the scalloped edge die from the new Apple Blossom Dies. My focal point is the two apples stamped onto a piece of Basic White CS, colored with Stampin’ Blends, and then die cut using the new Apple Blossom Dies. The apples were then adhered to the So Saffron scalloped circle (cut with the layering circle dies) and then this was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Tip: Did you know we have a “thick” version of the Basic White CS?  Our standard Basic White CS is extra smooth and awesome when it comes to stamping and getting a clear crisp image. The standard Basic White CS is more lightweight, which makes it great for layers, in that it doesn’t add much bulk or weight to your card. Stampin’ Up! Thick Basic White CS, is just like it sounds – thick. The Thick Basic White CS is better to use as a card base.

Inside the Apple Harvest banner card, I used the larger bunch of apples stamp to stamp a partial image on the right side using Memento Black ink.  This was then colored using the Stampin’ Blends.
