Stampin’ Up! has some exciting offerings for September!  They will be released, what they call, the Perfect Partners.  The Perfect Partners are die sets that coordinate with stamp sets in our current catalogs that did not previously have coordinating dies. They are even offering the 10% off bundle savings. But, these dies are only available during September or while supplies lastDOWNLOAD THE PERFECT PARTNERS  PDF FLYER HERE.

My fun fold card starts with a Crushed Curry basic card base 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″.  Then a second layer in Soft Suede is adhered to the front. The Soft Suede layer is 4″ x 10-1/2″, scored at 5-1/4 & 2-5/8″.

Celebrate Everything DSP was added to the Soft Suede layers – (1) 3-3/4″ x 5″ and (2) 3-3/4″ x 2-3/8″.  The apple, from the Apple Harvest stamp set, was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Cherry Cobbler CS and in Garden Green ink onto Garden Green CS. The Apple Blossom Dies were used to die cut these apples as well as the branches, blossoms, and leaves.

For the focal point on my fun fold card, I used the layering circles dies to die cut a Basic White circle and a Crushed Curry scalloped circle. I used blending brushes to add Crumb Cake ink to the bottom of the Basic White circle and Pool Party ink to the top of the circle. Using the Paper Snips, I cut the leaves off of the Garden Green apple and glued them on top of the Cherry Cobbler leaves. These were then adhered to the circle and the bottom part of the circle to the card front (as shown in photo).

I happened to have a leftover apple from a coloring comparison I did for another post. Using Paper Snips, I cut that apple in half and added the two pieces to the sides as shown in the photo above. This makes the inside match the outside and leaves plenty of room for an inside sentiment and/or a handwritten message. More directions are available in the video below. Then hop on over to Sue Jackson’s blog for more fun fold inspiration.
