Hi, Stamper. I don’t know about you, but my Facebook feed is filled with back-to-school photos. So, apples made me think Teacher Thank You card.

Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Teacher Thank You card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

My card starts with a Real Red card base, followed by a layer of Crumb Cake CS and then a layer of Garden Green CS. The Garden Green layer has been dry embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I created a blackboard using a piece of Basic Black CS with a 1/4″ strip of Crumb Cake CS along the bottom. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white – to look like chalk. Using Memento Black ink I stamped the apple on Basic White CS and colored with the Stampin’ Blends. The apple was die cut using the Apple Blossom Dies.

To create a fun fold easel card, I scored across the center of the Real Red card base. The Crumb Cake layer was only adhered to the bottom half of the card front. This was done so that the card could be propped open for display.

Inside the teacher thank you card is a layer of Basic White CS. The apples are stamped in the upper corner and colored with the Stampin’ Blends. The thin row of scallops was added the the bottom. For the stopper, I die cut a Garden Green label and added it to the middle using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
