Hi, Stamper. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! Where I am showcasing this beautiful “Spring” spanner panel card!

This month, the theme is Seasons’ Greetings. This month’s design team members showcase projects inspired by their favorite seasonal time of the year. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Spanner Panel Card #1:

Stampin' Up! Wonderful World Bundle Spanner Panel Card by Lisa Ann Bernard

My spanner panel card has a Gorgeous Grape card base and is layered with Highland Heather CS followed by the Wonderful World DSP. This DSP is gorgeous and totally FREE with a qualifying order as part of the July – August Sale-a-bration!

The Wonderful World DSP cut out wonderfully on my Brother Scan-n-Cut machine, which is how I cut out the large flowers for these two cards.

Between the left and right side panel I used a piece of acetate (from one of my photopolymer stamp sets, since the attach to the case itself), this allows you see through to the sentiment which is on the center panel. Those adorable scallops are done using the Basic Border Dies.

I made matching left & right panels for the inside of my spanner panel card and stamped on a piece of Basic White CS for the center section. The flower was inked using Stampin’ Write markers, so I could have it in two colors – Garden Green & Gorgeous Grape.

Spanner Panel Card #2:

This second spanner panel card is a little simpler.  I will be using this version for my in person classes next week. The layers of Highland Heather CS were removed and the spanner part is Gorgeous Grape CS instead of Acetate.

Inside this spanner panel card is a regular inside layer with the sentiment stamped in the center in Highland Heather ink.  The flower in the lower right was again inked using Stampin’ Write Markers.  Full measurements and directions are included in the video below.

Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 14th. Our theme will be Focus on the Sentiment, when the design team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
