Hi, Stamper – Fall has finally arrived!  Say “Hello Harvest” with some Hinge Stamping! Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Focus on the Sentiment. Our Design Team members are showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals share with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

For my card I chose to use the Hello Harvest stamp set and focus on the “HELLO” sentiment.  I stamped it in various colors of ink using the Stamparatus. This technique is called the Hinge Stamping Technique.

I cut part of the card front off, revealing the inside. Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper was added to the card front as well as a coordinating strip on the inside of the card. Doing this is a quick and easy way to do a fun fold.

To give it a more finished look, I added linen tread to the left side and added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies. The envelope flap was covered with the same (Rustic Harvest) Designer Series Paper.

I kept the inside blank, leaving plenty of room to write my message to the recipient.  This also allows me to add an inside sentiment later if I chose to, based on who I will be sending it to and for what occasion.
