Hi, Stamper. Welcome to our October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. This month we are working with the HO HO HO Paper Pumpkin Kit. This kit contains enough supplies to create 9 festive cards—3 each of 3 designs—and 9 coordinating envelopes. For our blog hop, each of us has used those supplies to make alternative projects.
Above is a photo of all supplies included in the kit.
Alternative Card #1:
For this card, I cut up one of the card bases to make a layer to put onto my Basic Black card base. Using one of the snowflakes as a mask, I applied Balmy Blue ink using the Blending Brushes to create this background. The small snowflakes are heat embossed in white and the Santa was stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.
Alternative Card #2:
For my second card, I used the same style of card base but this time just stamped the small snowflakes in Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. I really like the layer from the kit that had the Bermuda Bay with white sparkles, so I mounted that on Bermuda Bay cardstock to use as my focal point. Using glue dots, I added a small snow flake die cut to the upper left and lower right corners of that layer and then attached it with stampin’ dimensionals.
Alternative Card #3:
My third card might be my favorite. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut circles that we then cut in half and arranged to create this fun swirl effect. Then the green rectangle die cut was added to the middle and then the letters for JOY to be spelled out over the top. A few stars stamped in Crumb Cake and some embellishments dots and we have a fun festive card!
Which card is your favorite? Comment below and let me know.
