Hi, Stamper. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! Where I am showcasing the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes.

This month, our blog hop team made projects to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week, which is February 14-20! We hope you will be inspired by all the beautiful creations the Pals made for you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Treat Box #1:

My first Friendly Gnomes treat box made with the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes stamp set is made with a Blushing Bride carstock, covered by a layer of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. Next, White Glittered Organdy Ribbon is wrapped around the box and adhered with mini glue dots.

My focal point is the gnome that was stamped in Memento Black ink using the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes stamp set. The gnomes was colored using Stampin’ Blends and die cut using the Gnomes Dies and Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  This was mounted onto a layer of Real Red & Blushing Brides cardstock layers and adhered to the front of the box.

When the box is open you can see that it easily fits my Reeses Heart candy, but it was acutally desinged to hold six Hershey Miniature chocolate bars.  I show that to you in the video below.

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Treat Box #2:

My second Friendly Gnomes treat box is super simple to make. It’s made using two tags, die cut from Real Red cardstock using the Tailor Made Tags Dies with a gusset between them.

The front of the Friendly Gnomes treat box has a gnome that was stamped in Memento Black ink, colored with Stampin’ Blends and die cut using the Gnomes Dies. I also used the Gnome Dies to die cut the little mushrooms and grass that are added behind the gnome.  The top is curled a little with a bone folder and then tied togeher using White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. The videos below show how both Friendly Gnomes treat boxes were made.

Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 8th, when our theme will be Party Time, showcasing cards/projects that celebrate our family and friends.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
