Hi, Stamper. Welcome to our Fun Fold Blog Hop. I’ve got an adorable Baby Gift Card Holder made using the Stampin’ Up! Little Monkey stamp set and the Alphabet a la Mode Dies.
My baby gift card holder / fun fold card is a mostly monochromatic card using Granny Apple Green. I started with the Granny Apple Green card base and paired it with the star pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! The word BABY was die cut from Lemon Lolly cardstock that had Adhesive Sheet on the back – making them sticker letters.
When you open the front of the baby gift card holder it reveals the inside layers and gift card holder pocket. The sentiment “I’m BANANAS about you” is stamped in Granny Apple Green and the bananas are stamped in Lemon Lolly. They didn’t quite pop enough for my liking so I colored them using the Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends.
The pocket, for my baby gift card holder, was created using a layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock followed by a layer of Designer Series Paper with a notch cut out of it. This layer was then adhered using tear and tape on just three of the sides, allowing the gift card to slide down from the top.
