Hi, Stamper. Welcome to our Fun Fold Blog Hop. I am excited to share my Tackle Box Card with you! Did you see the Fishing Vest Card that I made last week? Either one of these cards would be great for the man in your life who loves to fish! (If your looking for a fishing themed card for a woman who fishes, I’ve inclued one of those in my tutorial bundle.
I used the Gone Fishing Bundle for my Tackle Box cards. This bundle came out in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog and has been really popular. So popular, in fact, that it sold out twice! The good news is that it’s back in stock again!
My first Tackle Box Card is done in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive colors. I used the “Happy Retirement” stamp from the Gone Fishing stamp set as my greeting. The handle was made using the pieces that die cut out of the tray I used on the inside.
Inside the Tackle Box Card, I have three trays filled with the various fishing lures and hooks from the Gone Fishing Bundle. I do not fish, so some of the various elements in this set were new to me. Do you see that red, white, and gray bobber, that one took me a bit to figure out from the dies. LOL
My second Tackle Box Card is done in Early Espresso and Crumb Cake colors. For the handle, I would recommend using the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Dots, I didn’t have any, so I used some retired Pebbles Enameled Shapes. So, I guess my rivets to my handle are a bit distressed… LOL
For this card, I stamped the “Happy Retirement” on the bottom inside tray. Again, I filled the trays with all the various bits and bobs from the bundle. For my tutorial, I created a legend of sorts so when I reference them, you know which one I mean. LOL Which one do you like better? Will you be giving this card a try?
