I got home from vacation last week with Covid, so I’m choosing to share a Double Fan Fold Card with you that I made earlier this year. I realize this particular Designer Series Papers (the subtles collection DSP from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) has retired, but when I looked at my stash of Designer Series Papers, honestly, I had trouble finding purples in my current stash.

My Double Fan Fold Card does however use a current stamp and die set, that’s the important part, right? I’m using the Pansy Patch stamp set and coordinating Pansy Dies. The Base of my card is made using Highland Heather cardstock with Gorgeous Grape and Basic White layers on the front of the card.

To create the flower on the front of my Double Fan Fold Card, I used the Pansy Dies with Blackberry Bliss, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Basic White for the flowers. I used Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. These flowers were made easier to assemble by using the Adhesive Sheet on the cardstock before die cutting. This made them basically stickers – no mess and no fuss! Easy peasy!

The back of my Double Fan Fold Card has a layer of Basic White cardstock. I used the Pansy Patch stamp set to stamp the sentiment in Daffodil Delight ink and the pansy in Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Daffodil Delight inks. I used the masking paper to cover the pansy and then stamped the leaves in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks.

The fold is a bit complex, so I have created a video to show you how it is created. I hope you find it helpful.
