Hi, Stamper. Happy Black Friday! (See my Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale below). I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I recently made this Gatefold Peek-a-Boo card for a YouTube/Facebook Live and am still so pleased with how it came out!
This is a landscaped Gatefold Peek-a-Boo card. The Peek-a-Boo was created using the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a circle in the left center of the card front.
When the card is opened you can see how the circle is split in the middle. You can also see how the focal point from the front of the card is actually on the inside.
I started my Gatefold Peek-a-Boo card like any other gatefold card, then i placed the circle die (from Stylish Shapes Dies) over the fold and secured one side with a post it note.
Then I moved it to my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and cut the one side. Then I closed the card, aligned the circle again and put the post it note on the other side and put that through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then the focal point was created and adhered to the card from the front with the two sides closed. Watch me make this Gatefold Peek-a-Boo card in the video below.
