Hi, Stamper. Looking for the perfect card for the carpenter in your life? This pop-up toolbox card could be just what you need to create a great masculine card that’s sure to impress.
My pop-up toolbox card begins with a Real Red card base, featuring Real Red “drawers” accented with a strip of silver foil. I used a sponge dauber to add a bit of ink along the edges for a more realistic, worn effect.
The inside of my pop-up toolbox card features an assortment of tools, all die-cut using the Trusty Tools Dies. I’ve arranged them in a playful layout that adds both depth and dimension to the card.
The back of my pop-up toolbox card features a layer of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink, and added a few nuts and bolts in the corners using Smoky Slate ink for a little extra detail.
One thing I love about this pop-up toolbox card is that it folds flat and fits perfectly into a standard A2 envelope. Would you like to give it a try? Check out the video tutorial below to guide you through the process!
