Hi, Stamper! Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop. For today’s project, I made a winter-themed 2-4-6-8 fun fold card, perfect for sending a thoughtful “thinking of you and sending thanks” message. This card showcases the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle and the beautiful Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper.
For my 2-4-6-8 Fun Fold Card, I began with a Gray Granite cardstock base. The main feature of the card is the Nests of Winter DSP, which is scored and folded at 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches to create the fun fold effect.
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the focal points for my 2-4-6-8 fun fold card. The circles were die-cut from Gray Granite and Basic White cardstock, while the sentiment banner was made with Misty Moonlight and Basic White. For the birds, I stamped them in Gray Granite ink onto scraps of Basic White cardstock and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. The birds were then die cut using the coordinating dies and adhered to the circles. The sentiment itself was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, tying everything together beautifully.
Inside the card, I used the Perennial Postage Stamp Dies to cut both Misty Moonlight and Basic White cardstock for the sentiment. I kept these pieces small to let more of the stunning Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper shine through. The sentiment itself was stamped using Misty Moonlight ink.
Here’s a detailed video tutorial that walks you through creating your very own 2-4-6-8 fun fold card from start to finish.
