Hi, fellow stamper! For today’s project, I put together a fall-themed Peek-a-Boo fun fold birthday card using the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle. The rich autumn colors and stunning leaf designs really bring this card to life. As a special thank you, everyone who ordered from me in September and used the hostess code received the cardstock and designer series paper to craft along with me!
My peek-a-boo fun fold card features a Copper Clay card base, topped with a layer of Autumn Splendor Designer Series Paper. To create the peek-a-boo effect, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut an opening in the card front. I then used the same dies to cut a coordinating ring to frame the opening and give it a polished look.
When you open the peek-a-boo fun fold card, it reveals an inner card made of Very Vanilla that opens in the opposite direction. On the front of this inner card, you’ll find a sentiment stamped in Copper Clay, which is visible from the outside. The sentiment is beautifully framed by Autumn Leaves, stamped in Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, and Old Olive inks.
When you open the inner card, you’ll find the sentiment beautifully surrounded by Autumn Leaves, stamped in rich Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, and Old Olive inks.
I also stamped the envelope flap with the same Autumn Leaves design to perfectly coordinate with my Peek-a-Boo Fun Fold card.
