Hi, Stamper! I was thrilled when Debbie Mageed from Secretstamper.com invited me to be a guest designer for her Creative Creases Challenge this week. I’m excited to showcase my Swing Arm Gift Card Holder for you. I used the Reindeer Days Suite to create this card. Stampin’ Up! Suites are fantastic because they come with everything you need—stamps, dies or punches, Designer Series Paper, embellishments, and ribbon. It makes coordinating your cards so easy and fun!
My swing arm gift card holder begins with a Real Red card base and coordinating swing arm. For decoration, I used the festive Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper, which pairs perfectly with the Reindeer Fun bundle. To add a fun focal point, I die-cut a reindeer using the Reindeer Fun Dies and mounted it on layered circles of Basic White and Pecan Pie. The circles attached to the end of the swing arm are what create the interactive swinging motion.
Inside my swing arm gift card holder, there’s a pocket designed to hold the card, along with a layer of Basic White. Both of these pieces are accented with touches of the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper. I’ve also included a step-by-step video tutorial below to guide you in making one yourself.
