This eye-catching 3D card is not only easy to create but also adds a wow factor that will make your holiday greetings truly memorable.
The Card-in-a-Box is a unique and interactive fun fold card that lies flat for easy mailing but pops open into a stunning 3D display. This particular design is a larger version, Christmas Card-in-a-Box, making it perfect for creating an eye-catching display, though it does require a larger envelope for mailing. To accommodate this, I use the Envelope Punch Board to create custom-sized envelopes. For those who prefer a more compact option, I’ve also designed a Mini Card-in-a-Box, which fits perfectly inside a standard A2 envelope. Whether large or small, this pop-up card is sure to impress!
My Christmas Card-in-a-Box starts with a Pool Party card base and is decorated with the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. To add festive charm, I incorporated Basic White layers for stamping using the Snowy Wonders stamp set. The color palette includes Pool Party, Garden Green, Early Espresso, and Memento Black inks, making the stamping process quick and effortless with bold, solid designs. For a delightful pop of color, I used Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to bring the penguin and snowman to life.
The interior of my Christmas Card-in-a-Box is beautifully decorated with festive elements stamped using the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set. Each piece was precisely die-cut with the coordinating Snowy Wonder Dies and secured to clear acetate strips for a floating effect. I used Mini Glue Dots to attach the strips, ensuring a secure and seamless design.
