Hello, Stampers! I’m excited to share a new-to-me fancy fold card design—the Hidden Flap Card. This unique and creative fold was such a hit that I featured it during my Creative Royalty team meeting and included it in my Reindeer Fun online class. It’s a fun and versatile design that I think you’ll love!
This Hidden Flap Card begins with a Garden Green card base, beautifully accented with the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. To add a special touch, I fussy cut the snow globes from the same paper and used them to decorate the front of the card.
At first glance, this card may look like a standard design, but the real fun begins when you open it! Inside, you’ll discover a smaller pop-up card cleverly hidden, adding a delightful surprise to the design.
This inside pop-open flap, was created on a Pool Party base and decorated with more of the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper, while the inside of this flap is the overall inside of my card. On the interior Basic White layer, I stamped the greeting and trees, from the Snowy Wonder stamp set in Garden Green ink.
This Hidden Flap Card was brought to life using the Snowy Scenes Suite, and it’s a perfect example of how beautifully Stampin’ Up! products coordinate. From the stunning designer series paper to the stamps, dies, and embellishments, everything works seamlessly together to make crafting easier and more enjoyable. The perfectly matched colors and designs take the guesswork out of creating, allowing you to focus on the fun of bringing your card to life.
