Hi, Stamper. Are you looking for a fun new way to elevate your card-making skills? Let me introduce you to the Mosaic Technique! My friend Sharon Armstrong recently shared this with her audience, and I couldn’t wait to try it myself. It’s a fantastic method for using up those Designer Series Paper scraps you’ve been saving.

To create the Mosaic Technique, I started with scraps of Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I cut into tiny pieces. Using scraps from the same DSP pack ensured everything coordinated beautifully—Stampin’ Up!’s color coordination for the win! I added adhesive sheet to a layer of Basic White cardstock and began randomly placing the DSP pieces, leaving small gaps between them to mimic the look of grout. Once all the pieces were in place, I covered the layer with gold embossing powder, tapped off the excess, and melted it with the Heat Tool. The finished mosaic was then layered onto Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhered to an Old Olive card base.

For the interior layer, I stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock. The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, while the greenery along the bottom was created using a two-step stamping technique with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks. I’ve included a link to my YouTube video below, where I demonstrate how to create this amazing Mosaic Technique.
