Stampin' Pretty Pals Blog Hop Badge

Hi, Stamper. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Winter Wonderland. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Stampin' Up! One of a Kind Sliding Peek a boo card handmade by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

I started my fancy fold card with an unconventional color palette. The card front features Highland Heather, and I created the peek-a-boo opening using the Stylish Shapes dies. To highlight the opening, I used the Stylish Shapes dies once more to add a Balmy Blue ring around it. Inside the opening, you’ll find a Fresh Freesia die-cut snowflake layered over a Highland Heather stamped snowflake. For a neutral touch, I used Basic White as the base and stamped images in Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, and Fresh Freesia inks.

When the card is opened, the stamped image for the inside sentiment slides in from the left, aligning perfectly over the snowflake revealed inside the card. To tie it all together with the card’s exterior design, I used the Stylish Shapes dies to create a Highland Heather cardstock circle, framing the peek-a-boo opening beautifully.

The photo above illustrates how the card base is assembled. While it might appear complex, I simplify the process step by step in the video below.
