Hello, Stampers! Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, we’re celebrating “The Language of Love”, and I’m excited to share my handmade Anniversary card featuring a fun fold design. I created an Angled Gatefold Card (from my Fun Fold Tutorial Book Volume 1) using the stunning Layers of Beauty bundle from Stampin’ Up!. This unique DIY card idea is perfect for celebrating love and special occasions. I hope my project—and the amazing inspiration from my fellow Stampin’ Pretty Pals—sparks your creativity! My Angled Gatefold Anniversary Card features a Basic Gray card base paired with elegant Country Lace Designer Series Paper for a timeless look.
The focal point showcases the Layers of Beauty Bundle, where I used the coordinating decorative masks and Blending Brushes to apply soft hues of Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive ink.
After blending, I die-cut the floral design with the Layers of Beauty Dies for a crisp finish. I then adhered the floral element to a stylish belly band, adding both function and flair.
Inside my Angled Gatefold Card, I added a crisp Basic White cardstock layer, accented with delicate strips of Country Lace Designer Series Paper along the top and bottom for a polished look. To personalize the design, I used the Layers of Beauty stamp set and Petal Pink ink to stamp a heartfelt “Happy Anniversary” sentiment on the inside.
