Hello, fellow stampers! I’m thrilled to introduce you to my Stadium Wave Card. At first, I spotted this design on Pinterest and thought it might be too tricky to showcase. However, I’m excited to let you know that it’s actually much simpler than it appears!
The front of this handmade thank-you card features the stunning Stampin’ Up! Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, which adds a beautiful, elegant touch with minimal effort. This floral-patterned paper is so eye-catching that it hardly needs additional embellishments. To create the focal point, I used the Something Fancy Dies to cut a layered label with Highland Heather and Basic White. The word “thanks”, from the Spotlight on Nature Bundle, is stamped onto the Basic White label in Gorgeous Grape ink, complementing the rich hues of the designer paper.
Inside the Stadium Wave Card is where the wow factor comes in. The wave effect is achieved by cutting and scoring cardstock layers in a way that allows them to bend and pop up when the card is opened. Don’t worry—it’s much easier than it sounds, and I walk you through every step in my video tutorial!
