Hi, Stamper. Welcome to Creative Creases Challenge #103! This challenge is all about celebrating the creativity behind fun fold cards. Our amazing design team has put together a variety of inspiring, interactive card ideas to spark your imagination. For this round, I’m featuring a Criss Cross Thank You Card made with the beautiful Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. If you enjoy trying new folds and love paper crafting, we’d love for you to join in and share your own fun fold project with us!

This Criss Cross Thank You Card features a Pool Party card base—cutting instructions are included in the video tutorial below. I decorated this fun fold with the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper, which I’m glad to see is sticking around—it’s such a joy to create with. While the bundle is retiring, and the stamp set has already sold out, the coordinating dies are still available at a discount in the Last Chance section of the online store. The focal point was made using Pool Party, Basic White, and Gray Granite cardstocks, die cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies for a layered look.

This fun fold card features a unique diagonal opening on the front—one triangle lifts upward, followed by a second triangle that swings out to the left for an eye-catching reveal.

Inside the card, I added a layer of Basic White cardstock, where I stamped a sentiment and a pussy willow image in Gray Granite ink for a soft, elegant touch. In the bottom left corner, I included a partial bird image that I trimmed from the edge of the Designer Series Paper—a clever way to make use of those cut-off designs. You’ll find a step-by-step video tutorial below that walks you through how to create this card from start to finish.
