Hi, Stamper. Do you need a Masculine Card Idea? Try this Pop-Up Slider Card Featuring the Stampin’ Up!® Sunrise Sailing Bundle! Masculine handmade cards can be tricky, but this Pop-Up Slider Card is the perfect solution—especially when paired with the Sunrise Sailing bundle from Stampin’ Up!®. Today’s project is a retirement card for men, but the design could easily be adapted for birthday cards, Father’s Day, or any masculine occasion. (Note: this fold can be found on page 90 of my Fun Fold Tutorial Book, Volume 2).
For the color palette of my Pop-Up Slider Card, I chose two of the gorgeous new 2025–2027 In Colors: Secret Sea and Cloud Cover. The card base features Secret Sea cardstock stamped tone-on-tone with Secret Sea ink for a subtle, nautical background. I then layered a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock, embossed with a coordinating folder for extra texture and interest.
The sailboat and sentiments were stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Basic White cardstock, and the clouds were die cut for added dimension. I love how the white elements pop against the deep, rich blues—giving this card a crisp, clean finish.
The real star of the show is the pop-up slider mechanism (you’ll find step-by-step instructions in the video tutorial below). A bit of silver ribbon adds a touch of elegance and serves as a pull tab to reveal the hidden message inside.
