Stampin' Pretty Pals Blog Hop Badge

Hi, Stamper! Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop. This month our theme is Ready for Fall, and I’m excited to share a More Than Autumn Corner Fold Card with you. Blog hops are a wonderful way to see a variety of handmade card ideas using Stampin’ Up! products, and at the end of this post you’ll find links to all of the other participants so you can keep hopping for even more inspiration.

My fall corner fold card starts with an Early Espresso card base. Using a paper trimmer, I made a few strategic cuts and folds on the card front to create the corner fold fun fold design. This technique adds instant “wow” to your card front while still being easy to recreate at home. To decorate the background, I layered Very Vanilla cardstock with the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper, matted with Gray Granite cardstock for contrast and structure.

The star of my corner fold card is the More Than Autumn bundle. I stamped the coffee cup, whipped cream topping, and pumpkin pie image in Memento Black ink. These images were colored with Stampin’ Blends markers for a rich, professional look and cut out with the More Than Autumn Dies. For the sentiment, I used Versamark ink and Gold Embossing Powder, giving the greeting a warm, shiny finish that perfectly complements the fall colors. Everything is layered onto a Very Vanilla square panel on the card front and accented with Cajun Craze cardstock leaves cut with the coordinating dies.

In the second photo, you’ll notice the detailed folds that make this corner fold card technique so eye-catching. You can also see how I wrapped linen thread around the front of the card, adding a touch of rustic texture that pairs beautifully with fall-themed projects.

On the inside of my card, I repeated the pumpkin pie image, stamping it in Memento Black ink and coloring with Stampin’ Blends. To tie the inside design to the card front, I added another Cajun Craze leaf die-cut and a narrow strip of Perfectly Plaid Designer Series Paper along the edge. This small detail helps create a cohesive look and finishes the inside beautifully.

I love how this fall handmade card turned out, and the More Than Autumn bundle makes it so easy to create seasonal projects with coordinating images, dies, and sentiments. If you’d like to recreate this card, I’ve included a step-by-step video tutorial to show you just how it’s done.
