fun folds blog hop badge

Hi, Stamper. Welcome to the final Fun Folds Blog Hop of 2025. I can hardly believe we’re already stepping into 2026. New beginnings always make me think of babies, that must be the grandma in me… Today I’m excited to share a sweet and interactive baby blocks fun fold card that’s perfect for welcoming a new little one.

This baby blocks card is one of the designs featured in my Fun Fold Tutorial Book Volume 4, which is now available in my online store. Inside the book, you’ll find full measurements, step-by-step instructions, and diagrams for this card plus 49 additional advanced-looking fun fold cards made simple. It’s a great resource if you love cards that wow but are easy to recreate.

For this welcome baby girl card, I used the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Onesie Bundle along with the Mini Alphabet Dies. The card base is Pretty in Pink, and it’s accented with the beautiful Floral Charm Designer Series Paper. From the front, this fun fold card looks like a standard handmade card, but the surprise is revealed when you open it.

On the card front, I layered Designer Series Paper that was cut horizontally and flipped on the bottom to showcase both sides of the paper. A 1/2” strip of Blackberry Bliss cardstock hides the seam and adds contrast. For the focal point, I punched a 2-3/8” circle from Berry Burst cardstock and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The onesie was stamped in Bubble Bath ink and die cut using the Cutest Onesie Dies, along with the pocket and rattle. I love using Adhesive Sheets with die cutting because it makes assembly quick and neat. The “congratulations” greeting, also from the Cutest Onesie stamp set, was stamped in Berry Burst ink and punched using the Three Banner Punch.

When you open the card, the fun really begins. The inside reveals the baby blocks created with the Mini Alphabet Dies, spelling out “baby girl” in Berry Burst cardstock. Adding Adhesive Sheets before die cutting turns the letters into stickers, making this part fast and frustration-free. On the inside panels, I repeated the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper on the left and added a Basic White panel on the right for the sentiment, stamped in Berry Burst ink.
