Hi, Stamper. Welcome to the Creative Creases Challenge #112, where we share inspiring fun fold card designs each month. Today I’m excited to feature a Heart Gatefold Card, a beautiful yet simple handmade Valentine’s Day card created with the Stampin’ Up! Endless Love Bundle and the Made With Love Designer Series Paper.
This Heart Gatefold Card is perfect if you like making multiples, because it comes together quickly and uses minimal cardstock, helping your crafting supplies last longer. I began with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Real Red card base layered with Basic White cardstock. Using the Endless Love Dies, I die cut two large hearts, scored them, and attached them to create the gatefold opening. A length of ribbon was added behind the panel so the card can be tied closed with a pretty bow. For the front, I die cut an arrow from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and “XO” from Bubble Bath cardstock using Adhesive Sheets for easy application.
Inside, I stamped a “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment with Bubble Bath and Real Red ink and added decorative hearts in Flirty Flamingo for a coordinated look.
