Today I’m sharing a Split Easel Card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Notes & Totes Bundle. This fun fold card is a beautiful way to showcase your favorite Designer Series Paper and add dimension to your handmade cards. My Split Ease card begins with a bright and cheerful Daffodil Delight card base, the perfect foundation for a fresh spring handmade card. This vibrant yellow sets the tone for a light and happy design that’s ideal for birthdays, thank you cards, or just because. I layered and decorated the card using pieces die cut from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, adding beautiful coordinating patterns and texture that really make this fun fold card stand out.

The front of the split easel card is cut vertically into two panels, and each side is scored horizontally at different heights to create that eye-catching layered effect. This simple scoring technique transforms basic cardstock into a beautiful interactive card design that really stands out.

For my beach-themed handmade card, I used coordinating die cut elements to build a relaxing seaside scene and attached them to the lower portion of the easel. When opened, the card pops up into a dimensional display that’s perfect for showcasing detailed die cuts and patterned paper. This split easel fun fold is ideal for summer cards, vacation themes, or any occasion that calls for something extra special.

Inside my Split Easel Card, I kept the inside clean and bright while still adding thoughtful details that make this fun fold design stand out. On the upper panel, I layered Basic White Cardstock and stamped a sweet sentiment from the Notes & Totes Stamp Set in cheerful Daffodil Delight Ink for a fresh pop of color. This simple stamping keeps the focus on the interactive easel feature while giving you plenty of room to write a personal message.

For the lower half of the card, I added a coordinating layer of Designer Series Paper to tie everything together. To create the functional stopper that holds the split easel in place, I used the adorable heart shapes from the sunglass lenses and popped them up with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. This small detail not only adds dimension and texture, but also makes the easel mechanism work perfectly.
