Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop! This month’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals hop is all about Birthday Celebrations, and I’m excited to share a creative Double Fan Fold Birthday Card made with beautiful Stampin’ Up! products. If you enjoy making handmade birthday cards, fun fold card designs, or unique cards that look impressive but are easy to create, you’re in the right place. Throughout this blog hop, you’ll find plenty of birthday card ideas using Stampin’ Up! stamps, dies, and designer paper to inspire your next project.

For my project, I created a Double Fan Fold Birthday Card, a fun fold design that adds movement and dimension to a handmade card. I started with a Crumb Cake cardstock card base. The outer panels are layered with beautiful Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper, while the center panel features a layer of Old Olive cardstock topped with Basic White cardstock. To add texture and interest, I used a decorative die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies to cut a delicate pattern into the Basic White layer. One thing I love about this die is that it can be used repeatedly across the cardstock to create a stunning all-over design.

The floral elements were stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut using the coordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies. I also cut the leaves from Old Olive cardstock using the same die set. For the greeting, I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink onto Basic White cardstock, then layered it with a coordinating Secret Sea cardstock label cut with the label dies from the set. The flowers and sentiment were attached to the front of the card using Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth and dimension.

On the back of the Double Fan Fold Card, I added a layer of Basic White cardstock for a handwritten message. To tie the design together, I stamped the coordinating flowers and sentiment again in Secret Sea ink, creating a finished look from front to back.
