Today I’m sharing a beautiful Internal Tri-Shutter Card featuring upcoming products from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Happiness Bundle. This fun fold card may look simple on the outside, but when opened it reveals an impressive tri-shutter design that is sure to wow your friends and family.

For front of my Internal Tri-Shutter Card, I started with a standard Misty Moonlight cardstock card base. I kept the outside clean and elegant by featuring the beautiful Summer Happiness Washi Tape (available beginning July 1). The washi tape was applied to Basic White cardstock and layered onto Melon Mambo cardstock for a bright pop of color.
The sentiment, from the upcoming Summer Happiness Bundle, was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White circle and layered onto a slightly larger Melon Mambo circle. To coordinate with the floral design, I die cut one of the flowers from the Summer Happiness Washi Tape using the coordinating Summer Happiness Dies. A few Strawberry Slush Flat Pearls provide the perfect finishing touch and add a bit of sparkle to the card front.
The real magic happens when the card is opened. Inside, the Internal Tri-Shutter Card unfolds to reveal multiple decorative panels, creating a stunning interactive card design that looks far more complicated than it actually is.
The tri-shutter mechanism was created from Basic White cardstock and decorated with the cheerful patterns found in the Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper. One of my favorite things about this paper collection is how beautifully all of the patterns coordinate, making it easy to mix and match throughout the card. The multiple panels of the tri-shutter design provide the perfect opportunity to showcase several of the paper designs in one project.
The sentiment combines products from both the Summer Happiness Bundle and the Mini Alphabet Dies. The word “HELLO” was die cut from Melon Mambo cardstock with Adhesive Sheets applied to the back for easy assembly. To complete the greeting, I selectively inked the Summer Adventures stamp to stamp only the word “summer” in Misty Moonlight ink.
Additional summer accents were created by die cutting images directly from the Summer Happiness Washi Tape after mounting it onto Basic White cardstock. One of the things I love most about this bundle is that the coordinating dies cut both the stamped images and the images found on the washi tape, making it quick and easy to create beautifully layered embellishments.
