For today’s project, I’m featuring a Center Accordion Fold Card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Floral Charm Designer Series Paper. This elegant fun fold looks impressive but is surprisingly easy to create. If you’ve been looking for new fun fold card ideas or easy cardmaking tutorials, you’re in the right place!
I created this card during one of my YouTube LIVE tutorials, and you’ll find the complete step-by-step video below so you can craft right along with me.
The card begins with a Pretty Peacock cardstock base paired with a smaller accordion-fold section in coordinating Pretty Peacock cardstock. Layers of the gorgeous Floral Charm Designer Series Paper highlight the unique fold and showcase the beautiful floral patterns, making this design perfect for birthdays, thank you cards, thinking of you cards, or almost any occasion.
To finish the card, I created a soft vellum belly band with a layer of Basic White cardstock. A simple sentiment stamped in Pretty Peacock ink keeps the design clean and elegant, while a hand-cut floral image from the Designer Series Paper adds the perfect finishing touch. This is a wonderful way to stretch your patterned paper and create a beautiful focal point with minimal supplies.
