Hi Stampers. I feel like I’ve been waiting a long time for Stampin’ Up! to get on board with the alcohol ink movement. When I first saw the front of our new catalog, I knew the Expressions In Ink Suite would be my new favorite!
Stampin’ Up! offers several “suites” in the 2021-2022 Catalog, like the Expressions In Ink Suite shown above. A suite consists of a bundle (stamp set and dies or punch), coordinating DSP and coordinating ribbons and/or embellishments. It is a “suite” of products that all coordinate together giving you all you need to create many projects. The suite has it’s own item number that includes all the items, making ordering easy.
My Expressions In Ink card starts with a Polished Pink card base. Polished Pink is one of the new 2021-2023 In-Colors. Next, I cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Expressions In Ink DSP. Before adhering it to the card front, I wrapped Polished Pink ribbon around vertically and horizontally. The ribbon is adhered to the DSP with glue dots on the back.
Using my handy dandy bow maker tool (buy yours here), I made this perfect little bow. The bow is then adhered to the card front using glue dots.
The sentiment “thanks” is stamped in Polished Pink ink onto Basic White CS. It was die cut out using the Tailor Made Tags dies. These dies come with a die that makes the circle that goes around the hole in the tag. I die cut the circle out of Polished Pink CS and adhered it to the tag. The tag was then adhered to the card using Stampin’ Seal.
Inside the card there is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS with a 1/2″ strip of DSP adhered across the bottom. I can’t even tell you how easy this card was to put together! So simple, yet so pretty!
