Hi Stampers. As you know, I’m currently on vacation.  This is a box of San Francisco Giants (SF Giants) Thank You and Happy Birthday cards in a gift box that I made for the friend I am staying with.

This handmade box easily holds three Thank You and three Happy Birthday SF Giants cards with envelopes.

The SF Giants baseball themed gift box is made in two parts and one slides over the other.

The card starts with a Basic Black card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, followed by a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla.  Next up is a 1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Pumpkin Pie CS and a 1″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Very Vanilla.

I stamped “thank you” in Memento Black ink onto that Very Vanilla strip, adhered it to the Pumpkin Pie strip and adhered the two the card front using Stampin’ Seal. Using the Hat Builder Dies, I die cut the hat from Basic Black CS and the stars from Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie CS (with Adhesive Sheet on the back). The S & F were die cut from Pumpkin Pie CS (with Adhesive Sheet on the back) using the Playful Alphabet Dies.

Inside this card I stamped the “You’re the Best” sentiment from the Hats Off stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink.

This card is basically the same, only this time I stamped “Happy Birthday” (from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set) in Memento Black ink.

I placed three stars because I’ve been told (by those more artistic than me) to add those types of elements in odd numbers.

This time, I stamped this sentiment (from the Lighthearted Lines stamp set) in Pumpkin Pie ink on the inside layer.

The SF Giants box is decorated with the Hostess Only Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, followed by a 1″ strip of Pumpkin Pie CS. For the focal point I used the Layering Circle Dies to die cut a Basic Black scalloped circle and a Basic White straight circle. To this I added a small baseball cap (die cut with the Hat Builder Dies out of Pumpkin Pie CS) and some elements from the Batter Up! Paper Pumpkin kit. The baseball on top is added using Stampin’ Dimensionals to make it kind of appear as if it’s been it by the bat. (Note: to learn to make the box – watch my YouTube video below).

I think my friend is really going to like these cards.  Might even need to make a set for my daughter, who is also a HUGE SF Giants fan!
