Hi Stampers. Welcome to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop! This months kit is called Haunts & Harvest and covers Halloween & Thanksgiving. Rather than making cards, this months kit was designed to make twelve treat boxes. The stamp set is fall leaves. I participated in another blog hop on this same kit last Saturday – see that post HERE.
Above is a photo of what came in the kit.
This card is very similar to the one I did on Saturday. I started with a Pumpkin Pie card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next up is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Misty Moonlight CS and then a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Very Vanilla CS.
Onto the Very Vanilla layer, I blended Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy ink. Saturday’s card had 1/2 of a wheel (from the Haunts & Harvest kit stickers) on the inside of the card. Today’s card has the second half on the front of this card. The pumpkins were created using the bottom piece of the boxes and the leaves in the Haunts & Harvest kit.
The sentiment is stamped onto a 1/2″ strip of Basic White CS in Pumpkin Pie ink and mounted on a 3/4″ strip of paper cut from the side of one of the boxes. Using the Pick a Banner Punch, I flagged the ends before adhering them to each other with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the card is another 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla. Blending Brushes were used to add Misty Moonlight ink to the top and Soft Succulent ink to the bottom. The sentiment was stamped in the center in Pumpkin Pie ink, while the leaves are stamped across the bottom.
Stampin’ Tip: For the leaves, I inked the stamp in soft succulent ink and then used a sponge dauber to add a little Pumpkin Pie to the edges before stamping.

Great idea! Love the way you decorated the inside of the card too! CLEVER!
Thanks. I never think my cards are finished until they have something inside. 🙂
oooooh!!! Super cute pumpkins!! I love your card!
Thanks, Dana.
Super cute card Lisa! I wanted to use those hexagon as well, but couldn’t think of anything. Thanks for the inspiration.
I had used the other part for my other Paper Pumpkin alternative card and had the hexagons leftover. Seemed perfect! I didn’t make the wheelbarrow, so the sticker made a good wagon wheel.
Fun card! Love the inside leaves, those are stunning! Great tip, thanks!
Thanks, me too! I love fall leaves!
Love the hexagons and the colors on this card! Beautiful!
Such a beautiful card. Thanks for your detailed card project information…a must try!
