Hi, Stamper. Last Monday I did a Live Stream on how to create a front triangle pocket card using the Hello Harvest bundle. See that blog post HERE. Everyone loved it so much, I decided to share it again for our Pals Fun Fold Blog Hop today. The pals always have some great ideas, so be sure to follow along after you read my blog post.
Isn’t this striking with the Night of Navy card base and the Hues of Happiness DSP?!?! It all started with the Night of Navy card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I measured down on each side of the card front 1-1/2″ and made a mark and then measured to the middle of the bottom at 2.3/4″. Using my paper trimmer, I scored from the bottom up to each side mark and folded them inward to create my pocket – for my Triangle Pocket Card. I did similar marking on two 4″ x 5-1/4″ layers of Basic White CS, only instead of scoring, I cut from bottom to each side. One was used for inside the pocket and one was used for inside the card.
For decoration, on my triangle pocket card, I used a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ layer of Hues of Happiness DSP that was cut in half diagonally. One piece was used for the front of the pocket. The second half was cut in half from the bottom point to the center of the long side. This created two pieces, one for either side of the inside of the card. The flowers are die cut from the Hues of Happiness DSP using the Blossoming Happiness Dies. I used the Label Me Lovely punch to punch a label out of Melon Mambo and Basic White CS. The Melon Mambo one was cut in half and mounted behind the Basic White one that has the sentiment stamped in Melon Mambo ink.
Inside my triangle pocket card, I stamped the sentiment (from the Happiness Abounds stamp set) in Night of Navy ink.
