Hi, stampers! Are you searching for a quick and easy fun fold card that looks stylish yet effortless to make? Today, I’m sharing two simple fun fold card designs that you can create in either portrait or landscape orientation.
These handmade cards come together beautifully using cardstock, Designer Series Paper (DSP), and a few basic dies, making them perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced card maker, you’ll love how fast and fun these cards are to create!
The first of my two quick and easy fun fold cards starts with a Night of Navy card base, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 1-1/4″ & 4-1/4″. I adhered a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of the beautiful Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper on the left side of the card front, and the right side was folded back. The folded-back section is accented with a coordinating 1″ x 5-1/4″ strip for extra detail. The focal point was created by die cutting some Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy card stock using the Countryside Corners Dies. The sentiment, created with the Wanted to Say Dies, is die-cut from Basic White and Night of Navy cardstock, creating a bold yet classic look.
Inside this fun fold card, I included a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White cardstock on the right panel, creating a perfect space for a heartfelt message. To add a stylish accent, I adhered a 1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper along the edge. On the left panel, a 1″ strip of the same Countryside Inn DSP adds a cohesive and decorative touch. These layered elements bring balance and elegance to the handmade card design, making it perfect for any occasion.
The second of my quick and easy fun fold cards features a Daffodil Delight card base measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 1-1/4″ and 4-1/4″ for a unique fold. To decorate the front, I adhered a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Floral Delight Designer Series Paper at the top, then folded back the lower portion and added a coordinating 1″ x 5-1/4″ strip. For the focal point, I used the Countryside Corners Dies to cut layers of Old Olive and Basic White cardstock, creating a beautifully layered look. The sentiment was die cut using the Wanted to Say Dies, combining Old Olive and Daffodil Delight cardstock for a polished finish.
Inside this fun fold card, I included a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White cardstock on the top, beautifully accented with a 1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. To create a balanced design, I added a 1″ strip of the same Floral Delight DSP along the bottom. These layered elements are a great way to showcase the stunning floral patterns on this handmade card. This fun fold card design is perfect for adding dimension and visual interest to your DIY greeting cards and handmade paper crafts.
